Brief Solutions Solutions in Business was founded by Michael Durrant.
Michael Durrant is a psychologist with academic AND practical experience in a variety of settings and an international reputation as a trainer and consultant in Solution-focused work. He has consulted to a number of organisations on change and people-management strategies.
He has conducted training for professional audiences in North America, Europe and South-east Asia and has been engaged as a consultant to the government of the State of Georgia (USA), two NSW government departments and a variety of non-government organisations. His work has particularly involved how to apply "strengths-based" and "solution-focused" ideas into organisations. Michael has been an invited key-note speaker at various international conferences in areas ranging from child protection to education - but all where a focus on creating positive change was wanted.
